FATA Automation is pleased to announce that it will be providing a portion of the conveyor package for the Gallagher Kaiser Paint Shop at the General Motors CAMI Assembly Plant in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada.
The package includes an Electrified Monorail System (EMS) with rotating carriers for the Pre-Treatment and Electro Dip (PTED) and a Skid Module System for the rest of the paint shop for the underbody program run for the all-new GM-backed BrightDrop eLVC electric vehicle, which is being produced as delivery vans for FedEx, Walmart and Merchants Fleet. The plant is scheduled to shut down starting on April 30, 2022 for the demolition of the existing system with the expected production launch to commence in January 2023.
